PoolCat is my most frequent subject so he has just gone live with his own Instagram account. poolcatcoolcat 

PoolCat “kucing kolam renang” likes to keep the pool area, where he lives, in order.

In the morning he does regular inspections before the guests arrive.

He makes sure that the furniture is clean

Checks the varnish

Inspects the showers.

Inspects the bins and “mungkin” (maybe) finds a “enak” (tasty) snack!

Checks the pump room

And the fountains

With the rain we get it is important to check the roof

And the gutters

Slug around Saturday.

A lazy “hari Sabtu” (Saturday) at the “Woods”.

Sometimes it’s just too hot to do anything but lay back and relax

I could probably manage a “pijat perut” (tummy rub)!

Too “capai” (tired) for the “ruang olahraga” (gym) no bar work for me.

Just lie back and enjoy the afternoon. Selamat sore!

 

Camouflage Kittens!

Despite most of the “Woods” population being fixed there seems to be a regular appearance of “kucing kecil” (kittens) but they are often hard to find.

A rare sighting in the open

“Kucing Ibu” (mother cat) does a good job of training her “anak-anak” (children) in the skills of camouflage.

Use the plants

The “taman” (gardens) in the “Woods” present many opportunities for concealment.

If I keep still he can’t see me!

They must be garden ornaments.

Even the indoor locals like a good hiding spot!

Halloween in the “Woods” was a big event last weekend.

The locals played their part. Bob the black cat was exhausted!

Secret Squirrel in the “Woods”!

One of the first times I went to the “kolam renang” (pool) I saw a “tupai” (squirrel) doing a balancing act across the power lines. Despite going to the pool almost every morning I never saw it again until this morning. I was worried he may have become dinner for one of the other furries!

He was exploring the palm trees but could be hard to spot.
